The helmet was definitely well received by the past chief. I finally got to sit down and talk with him a week or so after the banquet and he couldn't stop saying he much he appreciated getting something so personal from his officers. Once again thanks for such a wonderful helmet to present to a well deserved chief.

Tim, the problem with your helmets is that they are too realistic. At the Orlando fire conference 2011 we were wearing your helmets and knew everyone would want to know where we got them. Everyome began complimenting us on the incredibly fine condition of our vintage helmets and wanted to know who reconditioned them. One guy offered us $350 on the spot. It took us a minute to figure out that the other firefighters thought our Irish Fireman's Derby's were authentic vintage firefighting helmets. They couldn't tell that they were incredibly well made replica's of the highest quality and detail. Keep up the great work!! Thanks!!

We recieved the helmets , they look awesome we are very pleased with them and are very excited to give them to the guys!! We plan on presenting them with the helmets in September so we will take some photos and send them in to you!!
I think we plan on ordering again from you next year when some of the other guys get their 25 years in!!

You were right, it fits great and the liner is the best thing I have had on my bald head in a while.
Just the quality I was looking for, thanks for a great job.

The parade went great!! Unfortunately we weren't able to get many good
photos because one of the guys was running really late with just enough
time to make it into the lineup.....and at the end of the parade they
were not able to come back together (one of the guys was on duty and
just had coverage for the parade so he had to get back to the engine
house as fast as possible). My son Andy will be sending you a note to
tell you how great it was to have the helmet during the parade. The
brothers on his crew couldn't believe they were reproductions. Most of
them had only seen helmets like these in books. Heard nothing but
positive comments. When they got their shirts (a bib front like yours
in the photo) and their helmets on, they immediately stepped back 100+
years!! I think my wife got a decent photo - as though they are coming
out of the firehouse on a run. We will send that this evening and then
I will get some good closeups. Andy, my son, has a huge mustache which
looks perfect with the helmet! There were 8 or 10 firefighters who
joined them in the parade and they want to "sign up" for the "historical
hose co." since Andy has two carts. Of course if they do sign up they
will need a helmet from the Irish Fireman! Andy gave the other guys a
turn at pulling the cart even though they weren't in period dress while
he and the other guy, Steve, went along the parade route shaking hands
with the adults and high fiving the kids. Many parents wanted photos
with the "old time" firefighters. It is such great PR for the
department and your skill at making the helmets added so much to what
they were trying to do. They really looked great Tim!
